Boat along Thames?

Does anyone know if there is a ferry / boat trip that takes you from near the Tower of London to somewhere near Westminster?

We've got a short trip to London coming up (just 1 night) with a 1 year old in tow and my boyfriend has only been once and never really seen the sights. Obviously we could do the hop on hop off bus but I thought it would be good to go along the river and see Shakespeare's globe, London eye etc.

We're staying near the tower so would prefer to start there and head towards Buckingham Palace

Yes, you can get the Thames Clipper from Tower to Westminster. Or walk to Tate Modern and go from there to Millbank if you want to see the Houses of Parliament from the river (the Westminster stop is just before it).

They run about every 20 minutes. Info here:

Second the Clipper. Took my DF on it a few years ago, he loved it.
