Recommendations for Kingsbridge, Devon

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for things to do, see, eat, drink, basically anything to do in or around Kingsbridge?

We have a cottage booked for a few weeks time. I'm usually mega organised with an itinerary planned by this stage Grin but work stuff has got in the way this time and I feel woefully ill prepared!

There'll be four adults, one 9yo and a dog (so anything dog friendly particularly welcome)

Thank you in advance to anyone who can advise

My parents live there but I haven't been for years.

I reccomend, the round robin boat and train trip from Totness, Eden Project' Aquarium in Plymouth. Torcross, Hope Cove and Burgh Island and The Old Bakery for food.

Also go to the cinema in the town at some point. Its a proper old fadhioned one.

You could visit Bigbury on Sea and go across to Burgh Island on the sea tractor. The Pilchard Inn on the island is great and the art deco hotel was Agatha Christies favourite, she set two books there.
