Dog friendly short break?

Can anyone recommend anywhere or any websites to check where we ( family of 4 ,DD's 7 & 8 and Labrador) can go for a few days in August in the South somewhere.

I know we've left it late (just finishing months of building work) so options are limited but any help/ suggestions would be great

2 issues. firstly you are looking at peak season when most self catering places will only book out full weeks not short breaks. second is the dog friendly bit. there are less and less places taking dogs now. so I would go on the dogs welcome/pets welcome sites first and find dog friendly then see if you can grab a short break. if not it might have to be the first weekend in September right before schools go back as lots of places have space then. good luck

meant to also add that hotels and b and bs are much more likely to give you a short break so search on them rather than self catering.
