Butlins Minehead... silver bungalow

I love Butlins Minehead!

We went to Bognor last October and have just got back from Skegness.

We have already booked to go again but to Minehead in September.

Thank you so much for replying. I didn't realise my "Hi" had posted and I think I've somewhere posted a longer message. I am so sorry but I am new to Mumsnet and as you can see.... learning. Lol.

Has anyone stayed in a silver bungalow in Minehead before? This break has come about through my persistence as my husband has always been against it so as you can imagine I am a little apprehensive as the levels of accommodation does seem to vary and so many current on line reviews are about their new Lake Village which, sadly are out of budget x

How many of you op?

Its been a few years since my last visit.
Ok size.
Fairly basic.
Narrow single beds - fine for kids.
Take your own flash wipes etc for peace of mind.

Have a fab time. Mine are now too old to want to go.

I always post this on Butlins threads but have you thought about staying in a caravan on the Butlins site? They're usually comparative in price with the silver accomodation but are much nicer so long as you don't mind being a bit further away from the action.

We always used to stay in the silver bungalows until we discovered the lakeside caravans.

Thank you so much for your advice. I will def look into the caravans but as we have already booked/paid I'm not sure a swap would be poss but will def have a look. Even if it's for future ref.
