Breaking up journey from Liverpool to Inverness

Just that!

I've booked a lovely cottage near Inverness for Feb half term for me and my 3dc ... aged 9,8 and 3. It was a bargain and it's an area of Scotland I've fancied going to for ages.

I'm now getting a bit nervous about the length of the journey as it's just me and the dc!

Any suggestions as to where would be good to break the journey up for food, leg stretch, boredom relief etc

Any tips for the journey ... the older dc are prone to squabbling... I'm starting to wonder if this was one of my better ideas Hmm

Thanks Smile

Pop off the motorway just after Gretna and go to the coast in dumfries and galloway.

I was going to say Glasgow... plenty to do/places to go eat/easy to hop back on the motorway.

Glasgow is a great idea, could definitely spend several hours and have a good break from the car. Cheers x
