I went to a spa once with Dh and it was OK, and to another on a hen do that was really dull as I couldn't afford any treatments so it was just like going for a swim really.

Have you been to a spa that you really loved, maybe in a nice location for hillwalking or something like that? I feel like I probably would like a spa if I found the right one, and maybe took a female friend rather than dH.

Lake vyrnwy in north Wales is lovely. The location is pretty remote but great for walking, the restaurant in the hotel is great and the spa itself is nice too.

You could have a great weekend there without using the spa.

Oh that looks perfect! Thank you!

AQUA SANA at center parcs is fantastic. I can spend 9 hours in there easy.

Lose Hill Hotel in Hope. Most amazing food, lots of walks with a spa.
