Penzance Cornwall?

Is Penzance a nice place to stay?
Having four year olds I need somewhere with lots to do and lots of shops, pubs, restaurants ect.

We went for a day trip when staying in Cornwall and weren't very impressed, we didn't stay long to be honest.

No is the short answer. go on the tourist board website - visitcornwall - and you can then see the kind of thing that there is in Cornwall.

Cornwall generally isn't a place that you go for shops, pubs and restaurants. there is loads to do with small kids - theme parks like Crealy (now called something else cant remember what!) Woodlands, donkey park and also things like the beach, crabbing, rock pooling.
