Best spa?

I'm getting a big treat weekend away for DP and I before our baby arrives.

I'm torn between the Scarlet in Cornwall and Lime Wood Hotel.

Has anyone been to either and which would you recommend?

The Scarlet! Been 6 times and now we have DD we stay at its' sister hotel but use the spa at The Scarlet & still manage their afternoon tea on the blacony overlooking the waves & glorious unrivalled view.

They look after me with my allergies & one time we went I was in the very early stages of pregnancy and was incredibly ill (At one point I was injecting as it was thought I had a blood clot on the brain) but the staff were so good. They really looked after me by changing all of the dates & times of my treatments & booked meals.

We always stayed in their Unique rooms.

It was good enough for Dawn French's wedding

The outdoor seaweed tubs (big red buckets!) at sunset are wonderful.
The food is all locally sourced & menus can be adapted if needed.

The outdoor pool (swimming pond) is ridiculously cold & you'll see people in there wearing wetsuits but the inside one with the view is great.

These two hotels are the only ones we ever return to....& we have been around the world & travelled globally.
