Hotels near Holyhead

We come back from Ireland after what will be a fab Christmas at home but the ferry I booked gets us into Holyhead at 7pm. I am know thinking it might be kinder to DH to stay near Holyhead that night and & do the drive back to Norfolk the next day.

Does anyone know of any decent hotels near there for the night.

Many thanks.

We're going to Ireland from the East Midlands via Holyhead, and we always stay in one of the hotels in Betws y Coed on the way there and back - about an hour's drive from Holyhead through the Snowdonia National Park, and a pleasant little town with an excellent pizzeria.

There's a travel lodge in Holyhead that we usually use

There is a premier Inn in Parc Menai, Bangor. It has a table table pub/restaurant next door.If you want somewhere with a local feel,Beaumaris has a couple of decent hotels,The Buckley and The Bishopgate. There is also a good selection of places to eat there. If you're after a bit of luxury you could go to Chateau Rihanfa or Tre-Ysgawen Hall. These are all within a 20/25 min drive from Holyhead and are easy to get to.
