I have posted a petition on the talk, petitions noticeboard on behalf of a friend whose son fell from a coach at 60mph due to a faulty door. He is lucky to be alive and despite having lost a leg and having to deal with numerous other injuries he is now going on with his family to raise awareness about coach safety legislation. Please see the petition for exact details but old coaches are not bound by the same legislation as new and can use personal number plates to hide the age of the coach. This is why he fell and he is not the only one. We all need to be aware for ourselves and our children travelling on coaches.
