Has anyone had afternoon tea at Bea's of Bloomsbury? Or recommend another reasonable priced afternoon tea?

Had anyone been? Reviews are mixed on trip advisor.

Budget prob max £30. Would prefer high tea experience as it's a treat for DD but equally happy with great cake :o

How about Liberty's afternoon tea? It's under forty for 2 people, but you can't book. So you may have to wait for a table.

The St Paul shop is tiny, there are some table and chairs but I think they only seat 2.

If you can stretch to £36 I can thoroughly recommend County Hall Marriott near the London Eye. Fabulous views across to Westminster and it was really special. We paid a bit more for the 'free-flowing bubbles' option and they really did flow freely!

Liberty's would be good but I've got mobility problems so would prefer somewhere I can book.

Can I get from London Eye to Covent Garden easily by bus? I need to get there later on in the evening for an event.

Friends of mine speak highly of the Dean Street Townhouse. Though I've never been there myself.

Friends recommend Green Park hotel, better than the Ritz apparently. The Savoy is meant to be good too.

I just googled, I think friends meant the Hilton at green park.

Hilton Paddington was nice. We got a prosecco version off one of the deals sites and it was very reasonable and plenty of food

I have but its not really the afternoon tea "experience" iyswim.

I love patisserie Valerie but it's not a high tea experience it is easy walking distance from Covent Garden tho

Tea at the Wallace Collection restaurant. Lovely atrium setting and not as pricey as places like the Ritz/Savoy etc

The Wallace collection restaurant looks lovely but I think the Dean St Townhouse will do perfectly.
