Off in a few weeks to take my daughter (23 months) to see in the night garden live in Birmingham. Booked a two night stay. Planning to take her to the sea life centre....any other recommendations for little ones? Many thanks

The think tank at millennium point is great - it's a mini science museum. Used to take my little ones there all the time!

Thinktank is waaaay better than the Sea Life centre imo.

Depends on her age, I'm guessing young. There's the Nature Centre (think it's called the Wildlife centre or summat now) also at Canon Hill which is great for littlies.

Is say Sealife is better than Thinktank for an under 3 to be honest, although they might like the science garden.

Night Garden Live takes place at Cannon Hill Park I think which is lovely. The Nature Centre is next door to the park and is deffo worth a quick visit with little one.

Cannon Hill Park is ace and has loads to do. With it being the summer holidays there may well be activities on in the main Park. These are usually free of charge.
Sealife Centre is good, but I think it's overpriced. It has very good access for pushchairs, though. And it's surrounded by Birmingham's canal network, which makes quite a nice walk.

Cannon Hill Park has bugger all to do - it has a playground and expensive mini golf. Nice place to walk around though.

Thinktank is a must! Great even for young children. The interactive garden bit is amazing!
