hotel with spa

Hi, I'm looking for a nice hotel to go to that has a spa. Ideally it should be within 1-2 hours from London.

Any suggestions please? Budget isn't a huge issue, though would prefer something mid-range.

I know this isn't exactly what you were asking about but we went to Bath. the spa there is fantastic with a rooftop open air pool that is really toasty warm and a fab view across the city. the range of treatments and food is also good. we stayed in the Travelodge about 10 minutes walk away and spent the money we saved on not having a swish hotel on even more treatments (3 in total) and cream tea at the pump house.

Cedar Court Grand in York is lovely. You could go on the train as hotel is a five min walk from the station. Good shopping and nice spa..

it was the main one in the centre of bath with the roof top pool; thermae bath spa.

We had our wedding reception at the Berystede hotel in Ascot and it has a lovely spa! Awesome outdoor pool that we were in whilst it was snowing, it was so warm!

Chewton Glen in Hampshire is lovely, we go there about twice a year. Really good spa too.

I am not sure chewton glen is mid range budget!
