TV for elderly mum

My mum has is 90 and now living downstairs at home. Her tv is a really small portable, which she struggles to see, and she manages to break every remote that she uses...
Given that it's Black Friday, I wonder if there are any TV bargains to be had out there.
The criteria is that it must be mum-proof and very easy to use.
Has anyone got any recommendations!!??
Thanks!

Unless she wants it for Christmas viewing, you might get better deals in the New Year.

We always favour Panasonic. The screen size should be dependent on how far away one sits from a TV - TEN FEET is about right for a 32" - 40" screen.

Don't bother with 4K (you probably weren't considering that anyway). And you only need Freeview channels.

I don't think any modern 'tech' can be guaranteed mum-proof or easy to use.

I'll come back sometime if I see anything really suitable.
