Advice please, wise MNers!
We're going on holiday to Cornwall (near Wadebridge) from SW London in September. I will be 34 weeks pregnant when we set off (holiday booked before conception!) DS will be just four, blessed with a bladder of steel and is generally good in the car.
When going on holiday we usually try to break the journey on the way, so it takes a day to get to our destination but we have a nice lunch and see something interesting on the way.
We usually go for National Trust places as we're members, but nothing is leaping out at me at the moment. Any ideas? Our criteria are: somewhere to have a halfway decent, child-friendly lunch, somewhere for DS to stretch his legs, and something relatively interesting to stickybeak at.
Thank you!
