Looking for weekend accomodation for large group

Does anyone have any recommendations for weekend accommodating for a large group in the South of England somewhere? There are 16 of us in total (8 adults and 8 children) but with babies could probably squeeze into 7 bedrooms or perhaps 2 smaller properties in the same place.

you need to go onto the specialist websites like groupaccommodation.com and bigholidayhouse.com they have a huge selection of places to stay in and you can search by date. assuming you don't want school summer holidays because if you do you have no chance of a weekend only. what time of year are you looking at?

Have you thought about Butlins or CenterParcs. We went to the latter as an extended family group of 14 and booked an 8 berth and a 6 berth chalet next to each other. That worked well. We even managed to sit every one down to dinner together with a little judicious moving of furniture and using both ovens to cook in.
