Legoland - some tips please

I am going to Legoland this week. Yes I know baking hot etc! But that is what we are doing.

I have some questions that I hope Mumsnet can answer.

Do they have lockers at Legoland and what is the best way to get one?

What is the best route? Are there like shows and things you can watch? How soon do you need to queue?

Shows - Pirate show and Lego friends. Lots of steps to sit on. Lots of people recommend eating lunch in front of these.

Lockers at the beginning. Just pay £1 into the slot and it's yours.

Is Splashzone OK for an 8 year old? Do adults have to go in too?
