Short UK break for October Half Term, need some Inspiration!

Looking for a 4 night break but not Center Parcs.

Probably a self-catering lodge type holiday with a communal indoor pool, countryside.

We live in Kent, but willing to travel a bit.

We are DH, me, 3 DCs age 17, 9 and 7.

Looking to pay around £800 tops.

Bluestone in Wales?

Sandy Balls in the New Forest?

Whitemead in the Forest of Dean.

Sorry on phone app so can't do links but easily googled. I have personal experience of Sandy Balls and Whitemead and highly recommend both. Multiple friends have recommended Bluestone and we're giving it a whirl this October.

Cardiff. stay somewhere cheap, do the white water rafting and the castle for something different.
