I don't want to wear shoes for a week, looking for a sc on a sandy beach, really, really ON the beach!

Found some websites, but many of them seem to think being on the beach is still 10 minute walk away, which as we know with toddlers = half hour of whinging

I want to open my door and see the beach, must be sandy, prefer South East, South West, Wales or Norfolk.

Anyone willing to share their secrets? This is for next summer, that's how much I don't want to wear shoes Smile

Croyde, Devon has a good selection of beach bungalows situated just short, sandy, country tracks to the beach

I stayed in one the last proper hot summer of 2006 and didn't wear shoes for 2 weeks. Walked down to the beach in a bikini at 8am.

it's very weather dependent of course

we stayed at bigbury for the past two summers which is why we want something similar, but somewhere different.

this place it's above the beach, but you definitely wouldn't need shoes. And it is gorgeous. We booked again before we even left, to cheer ourselves up about having to leave.

Saunton Sands (N. Devon) have cabins set in the sand dunes - you will have to walk across a car park.
