We went to CP last year with DD who was 2.5 then, she's now 3.5 but we have a newborn baby also. We enjoyed it but other than the pool and bikes didn't use the facilities / experiences much other than an afternoon in the spa for me.

We know we won't be able to use the bikes with a 3 month old sooooo onlooking for alternatives:

Important are/ great play areas, pool (with slides for young children), some activities adD1 can get involved in (we are happy to go with her) and spa stuff for me (ideally)

We aren't bothered about anything else. We are up north and I don't want to travel abroad so CP Europe is out for now. I've looked at bluestone which looks v nice but is too far from us (5hrs). Can anyone suggest anywhere else we might like? I wouldn't want to pay more than CP price ideally and we would like to go for 3-4 nights.
Thanks Grin

And it doesn't need to be on the sea necessarily although that would of course be nice.

Bluestone in Wales is lovely. A bit like CP but by the sea and you do more trips off site.

Low-key version, not as pretty landscape as CP but we had a nice time at Ribby Hall, near Lytham. To my great surprise!

I second Ribby Hall. Great place.
