Legoland Windsor - Qbot or not?

We are planning a visit to Legoland at Easter. Been before a few years ago and didn't Qbot and done of the queues were lengthy.

We were thinking of doing two days. Last time we went, they were doing an offer to buy a second day ticket for £10 so we thought we might try that if possible. Will be using Tesco Clubcard vouchers to get in. However, rather than do 2 days wondered if it's worth getting Qbot and doing it all in 1 day. I know it's a bit more expensive (£15 each) but the thought of queuing with the DC doesn't fill me with joy (they are 7 and 3)

Any advice? Is Qbot any good/worth it? We can get there early anyway, what are the best rides to head to first?

TIA

We went in summer and the Qbot was well worth it (anything other than the basic one is not worth the extra though). Check which rides aren't on about and head there first - there was a water ride that span round and the queue was very long so I'd say go for that one. Name escapes me, sorry! We could've spent 2 days easily even with qbot.

Rides aren on Qbot , that should say!

Yes get one. Have done lego land with and without and it's worth it. Agree that you only need the basic one.

Thanks both. Do they still do the 2nd day for £10? And can you do it with clubcard tickets?

We did a qbot and did legoland in 1 day instead of 2. It was SOOOOOOOO worth it. similarly we had cheap/free tickets in so kind of justified the qbot to ourselves.

There were queues for most things of 30m-1h so it was great to just go around where we wanted.

We took lunch to the pirate show too (recommendation on here) so we had our seats early and killed 2 birds with a stone.

Definitely well worth it.

Doubles -at least - the number of rides you get on.

Definitely worth worht i just had the basic one, it queues for you so whikstbyou are waiting for it to buzz you to tell you can do your next ride, you can have lunch or go i go he play round or watch watch a or see th see go villa village etc. not no time quite using it was fantastic. Did lots of rides twice.

We did LL on a sunny Sunday in September and were glad that we had the QBots. Apart from the odd ride we never really queued for more than 15 minutes and managed to get most of the suitable rides done in one day.

Definitely recommend. The boating school is not on it but is a brilliant ride (think this is the one the other poster means) so go there first. I think the driving school for the younger kids is not on there either.

mamababa · 13/03/2015 13:40

Thanks everyone will definitely get Qbot and head to the boats and driving first then!

Worth it. We went on a non pupil day in October in the rain and the queues were still 45 minutes for the popular rides. We got half price tickets so justified the Q-bot on that basis. We had driven from Devon for the day with no plans to return anytime soon and DH has bad knees so queuing is miserable for him. We put the popular rides on the Q-bot and ran on the queue free rides like the pirate ship while we waited.

Driving school was on q bot last year but not boating. Laser raiders not in q bot we went ther first
