We want to combine a night away for our wedding anniversary with a day at an exhibition at the NEC. Can anyone recommend somewhere nice to stay?

Near Jewellery Quarter-cool part of town.

Hotel du vin will negotiate on rates at weekends - we got the whole family in and they threw in breakfast
