Ovarian cyst

I am having an ovarian cyst removed next week as day surgery. Can anyone tell me what symptoms a cyst causes? Lately ive been feeling a slight dull ache in my abdomen and lower back and I am slightly nauseous. I am worrying there might be something else going on.

Have they tested your blood for signs of cancer. I've had one for about 5 years now. Usually there are no symptoms and it's scanned every year and it's not growing so they've left it alone. I forget ive got it. It's about 8 cms.

Hi. Yes I had a ca-125 blood test done which was ok. They gave me the option of watching or removing so I thought I would just have it removed.
