Birmingham - Please can someone suggest somewhere nice but child friendly to have dinner near the Marriott in Birmingham? Think this is near Edgbaston

Blue piano is a stones throw from there, on Harborne Road. Families welcome, Singaporean/Thai style.

The mailbox is a short taxi ride away and has a selection of restaurants, as does the cube.

For posh food Simpsons is walking distance, but for the sake of a £3 taxi, I'd get a taxi with kids. Great lunchtime mini tasting menu with wine. Families welcome.

Then there's the rest of the city centre. Avoid Hagley road and broad street for food.

Have fun.

Oh, and you're quite close to the botanic gardens which is great for kids! And canon hill park and the Mac are nearby. Worth checking out if you want the kids to have a run around and grab a coffee and have time!

There is a frankie and bennys at Broadway Plaza. A stones throw again!

There is a nandos next to the cinema on broad street.

Does it have to be super close by?
