We are going for 1st trip to Whinfell
with nearly 2yo on Monday Smile
Do we need to pack children's plates, cups, cutlery, etc or will this be in accommodation?
Any other non-obvious essentials that we should pack/take with us?
TIA

yes to ch crockery and cutlery as everything there will be proper crockery/glass.

travel stairgates DONT work across the kitchen!!! or they don't at longleat one so I presume they wouldn't at whinfell!

I took foil (and blutak) to put on bedroom windows to use as a blackout blind.

there's no fruit bowl so we have to use one of the glass bowls that are there but this means that salad is not easy to serve up!

have a great time, we love it at cp and go every year!

Just came back from longleat this week.

They had plastic glasses but nothing else.
Take a little bike lock to tie up your childs scooter/bike

Thanks for responses Smile

Glad I checked as I thought they probably would have plastic plates and cups, etc as they've always had that stuff in holiday lets we've been to with DS.

Thanks for other tips too. I will get packing.

2 lots of swimming stuff so one lot can dry whilst using the other
bright coloured ribbon for each bike so you can find it in the bike park
