Gastropub/ restaurant London

We are looking for somewhere with fab food and beer, not too dressy for our last night with ds before we drop him at uni. He loves steak a and will never be able to afford it again so somewhere that does good meat would be excellent. Any thoughts please. Many thanks.

I don't eat meat but I have always thought Browns, Covent Garden has a great atmosphere - classy but relaxed and I have enjoyed the food there

Gaucho Grill - there are a few around. I like the one near Tower Bridge

For best steaks in London I recommend Hawksmoor! There's a few of them now, although I've only ever been to the Spitalfields one (East London isn't dressy)
