Restaurant in London

I want a restaurant for a lunch in London- kind of place that would be too expensive in the evening but their set lunch is ok - up to £50 for their set lunch. Tripadvisor is overwhelming with the number of restaurants on there, so need a personal recommendationGrin

gosh there are so many!!! Depends what you want, we visited and stayed in Covent Garden, during lunch time there were tons of offers ie pre-theatre daytime lunches. Loch fynes had a 3 course lunch for 12 per person.

I know what you mean - how about Le Gavroche (Michel Roux's restaurant)?

Sorry, posted too soon. Le Gavroche does set lunch for around £50 which includes a half bottle of wine per person.

Not sure they do set lunch but The Wolseley feels special.
Or Galvin La Chappelle in Spitalfields.

The best place would be Le Gavroche - set lunch £55 but have to book well in advance.

No set lunch at The Wolseley but could definitely eat there for less than £50/head. A great experience but I think the food better at Le Gavroche.

l'atelier de Joel robuchon do a great set lunch, and if you get a seat at the bar you can watch the chefs at work which I loved. Le gavroche is more formal though, it depends what you're after. ..
