Please can anyone recommend a good place to stay for one night in Cambridge city centre which is near to the train station.

Cambridge isn't really very big! How about Hotel du Vin? Or there's a Travelodge very near the station, depending on budget.

Good place to stay is Travelodge Orched Park very cheap rooms from £42 per night for family room new hotel great friendly staff

Orchard Park is quite a way out, there's a Travelodge on Newmarket Rd as well which isn't too far. Otherwise there is a good B&B on Warkworth Terrace (or Road) forget which
