Things to do in Edinburgh

Recommendations of things to do with a 11 & 12 year old in Edinburgh limited mobility within the family so nothing to active. We are away up north and visiting tomorrow for the day.

What about a visit to the castle?

The festival is on, go to a couple of shows!

The National Museum of Scotland is supposed to be excellent as is Camera Obscura. I haven't been to either but they are on my visiting list for next time we go to Edinburgh.

The Castle and a show or two are good suggestions and that's how we spent our time there!
