We are going to Dorset for a long weekend in November, with dds 2 and 4. Inlaws are coming too, including SIL and boyf who know the area well but have no children. Please give me some tips for places to visit so that i don't just have to do what they want to all weekend!

not sure where abouts kimmeridge is but for starters -

Moors Valley Country Park - its outdoors but as long as not wet might be useful to run off some steam (its north of bournemouth)

Sealife Centre in Weymouth

If the weather is good then Kimmeridge itself is great - we went crabbing on the rock levels and looking at all the fossils.....mmm just spotted that you are there in November, maybe it'll be a bit chilly for crabbing!

Farmer Palmer's I would agree is a good bet.
