Thinking of Cornwall with a 13yo and 15yo (boys). Where to go, what to do?

Probably camping or a cottage. Which part of Cornwall is best? Apart from inevitable surfing, what is there for the boys to do?

we stay a lot in South east cornwall around Looe. there are surfing/body boarding places and also somewhere for lessons like at Polzeath where you can also camp. there are loads of things like tree surfing, coasteering, boat fishing trips, going to the lakes to sail etc, swimming pool with wave machine, walks, you need to narrow it all down a bit. which bit of cornwall, what time of year and whats your budget. we do often stay here but if it is school summer hols it will be booked as will many other places.

The north coast is very rocky and dramatic. Great beach at low tide at Trebarwith Strand, some holiday cottages there and a nice pub with rooms, just a few miles away is the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac (setting for Doc Martin if you've ever watched it) and a bit further on there's Padstow with some great restaurants and sailing/boat trips etc

Would they like the Eden Project?

Can your boys actually surf (as opposed to body-boarding). If not, could you sign them up with a surf school?
