This is to break our drive home from Cornwall in August. So need somewhere with decent food and places to stretch our legs /entertain two toddlers for an afternoon.
Looking at Tewksbury area but open to suggestions!

All in one room?

Clent - has some B&Bs, a couple of pubs, and the beautiful clent hills for a lovely walk. it's about 10 minutes off junction 4 of the M5, towards Stourbridge.

Yes or interconnected/suite type thing though I doubt that for our budget!

Here you go

Lickey Hills are on the outskirts of Birmingham - a lovely country park for rambles, picnics, play area, etc.

Rose and Crown is a old pub right on the hills (often booked for weddings)
The Westmead is by the M5/M42 Jnct (well just off the first junction) - don't know what the food is like there, but there are some nice canal walks nearby and quite a nice pub called The Hopwood on the side of the canal

Lickey Hills are lovely too.
