Hotel in Northampton area

Anyone recommend one, preferably a quite posh one with a pool?
Its my dad's 70th coming up, and lots of family members need to converge for a do (hence Northampton which is middle point for us all)

Hi Posey, there is a Marriot Hotel near to the M1 on the A45 it has pool etc, my brother had his wedding there and it was very nice. Also a Hilton, just off junction 15 M1

I haven't been here, but have heard good reports whittlebury hall

Whittlebury is very nice, been to a wedding there also

hilton is nice friend had wedding reception there . havent had the pleasure of the marriot also if you wanted to be in town the sol central has its own hotel , not excatly posh but there is a pool im sure and its great to get to places as town center is right outside the doors hth
