We are looking at taking our caravan to either Wales or Cornwall in July. I have been to Cornwall several times before and I love it but it is such a long trek form us here in Lincolnshire, Going to Wales would save us a couple of hours travel but I'm not keen on the idea (doesn't always rain in Wales ?) Last time we took our caravan to Cornwall we stopped off half way for the night and it seemed to work well. Those who have been to both please tell me which you preferred and why, It is mainly the beaches I am interested in and I will have one child and one dog with me,Thanks.

I love both. Pembrokeshire has some stunning unspoilt beaches. A

Come to West Wales, it is lovely here. Our beaches are beautiful and can be quieter than Cornwall. We have dolphins in the bay too. No it doesn't rain all the time. Early July seems to be wetter than the last couple of weeks for some reason, and of course we've had wet Summers everywhere, but there are plenty of dry sunny days to swim and walk.

Definitely go to Cornwall and leave Wales nice and quiet for me

Pembrokeshire or Anglesea are fab, no more rain than Cornwall :)

Wales! Gower is nice too - especially Rhossilli.

See! We all agree. I am in the very Northernmost tip of Pembrokeshire, and I will be at the beach tomorrow .
