we just came back from Bibury near Burford where we stayed at the Swan hotel, opposite a little trout farm which dd (20 mths)loved (you can feed the fish and there is an adventure playground (small). it was £140 a night tho. Bourton on the Water is great for kids (model village, model railway etc). ours slept in our room in a cot. Farms are better for b@b (and much cheaper) but you need to book in advance. Try www.cotswold-inns-hotels.co.uk for late hotel availability (we found them very good) or www.glosfarmshols.co.uk (for farms). Or for more info about Bourton try www.places-to-go.org.uk/Bourton_on_the_Water.htm
