Please can anyone help with travelling details from is Travelodge address to the O2?

Midweek, two adults, travelling from the hotel to the O2 to arrive around 7pm.

Have no idea how to cross the river.

Is a taxi required from the hotel and if so any clue to cost? Or is there public transport, and if so do we need a special kind of train ticket, and would it be eligible after midnight as unsure what time the concert will finish?

Hotel address:
Coriander Avenue
Off East India Dock Road
E14 2AA

Thankyou!

Use the Journey Planner on the Transport for London website: www.tfl.gov.uk

Enter the post code of the hotel in 'From'; enter O2 in 'To' and choose "The O2, Peninsula Square" in the drop down menu. Then enter the date and time you want to arrive or leave.

The easiest journey will be to walk to East India DLR station, take the DRL to Canning Town, change to the Jubilee line and take that to North Greenwich. Then walk to the O2.

Will you be using any other public transport during your stay in London? If so probably best to get an Oyster card (£5 deposit I think, or have they gone up?) and then load it with some money to pay for your travel ('pay-as-you-go').

If not, get single cash fares. From East India station to North Greenwich is £4.70 each way, per person. If you were using pay-as-you-go on an Oyster card, the each individual fare would be £1.60 peak or £1.50 off-peak.

Single fare finder is here: www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/tickets/faresandtickets/farefinder/next/default.aspx

Why don't you just use the emirates cable car?

Emirates airline is quickest way, fun and not too pricey as well
