Have heard the marines use an Avon one but can't get hold of that in shops. So, what else is good?

Thanks

Avon Skin so Soft is supposed to be the business. Here's the link - perhaps it could be sent to you by the end of the week.

Mozzy Off is the business.

My vote is also for Skin so soft. It works great.

schneebly · 14/08/2006 11:29

I live in Scotland and would reccomend the avon one if you can a hold of it!

The wasps are out, too. Little bastards.

Skin so Soft I think it has to be the Woodland scented one.

I recommend Jungle Formula if you want chemicals .

My tip for applying is to rub all over then rub some on your hands then run it through your hair, does nothing for your hair but stops you getting as many bites on your head.

Another tip is not to wear any highly perfumed stuff.

Or take up smoking, make freinds with a smoker, light a small bonfire and stand in the smoke or stand in the exhust fumes of your car.

Another vote for Skin so Soft

The Avon one is indeed the biz. I got it from this ebay seller . Quick delivery and I'm sure she'd get it to you in time if you emailed her.

Turqumseh · 14/08/2006 23:41

Oh crap - I'm off to Edinburgh next week. Are there midges there?

Skribble · 14/08/2006 23:48

Yes you will get midges ther but not really in the city centre perhaps sitting under the trees in Princes gardens. Mind you all that festival palavour will have scared them away .

Yuk, thanks for that . I thought they were only in the highlands, dammit.
