Pontins at Brean sands.

Anyone been to Pontins at Brean sands in Somerset?

We are staying there for 4 nights on the 4th September with our 14 month old. I'v had a look at the budget accomodation and it looks very basic and small, would it be worth upgrading to a club appartment instead as it looks much nicer.

Is the camp a dump as i'v read in some reviews and will there be things to entertain our 14 month old daughter?

I've been to pontins before, and would say it's definitly worth paying to upgrade, especially with a young baby.
The club apartments have nice gardens/picnic benches outside, and patio doors and are much more comfortable.
The basic apartments reminded me of a youth hostel tbh..lol
Brean sands is a lovely place, so I'd suggest spending as much time as possible off site as there are lovely beaches right next to the site.
