Short UK breaks

Hi I have a 4 y/o and a 4 month old and we are thinking of taking a few breaks in UK this year rather than go away. We want something to provide great entertainment for 4 y/o, maybe adventure play or good pools with slides etc. Dont want to travel too much more than a couple hours from Somerset. Any suggestions? We would like Centre Parcs but without breaking the bank. Thanks.

we stay here not sure how far it is from you but know it takes us an hour once we get to Exeter. they have a swimming pool and lots of farm animals. not a huge place though but near to the sea.

Thanks I will check that out. We are happy to stay in a premier inn if there are things locally we can do.
