Has anyone been? Do you know when information about this is published?

We promised the boys we would go this year, and need to get some accommodation booked: but we want to see the programme before we choose which weekend.

I was surprised there's nothing on their website yet.

you can register for a brochure Here

Furball · 29/07/2006 12:24

is this what you want?

roisin · 29/07/2006 13:55

Thanks Furball - that's really useful. The link is actually mid-week workshops for schools, but it includes some of ds1's favourite authors, which is a good sign.

It also states that the brochures will be available early August - so that's great too!

Ta!

OK Dh has just told me he's too busy the first weekend, so I've booked a Travel Lodge for the second weekend: and we'll just have to hope there's something/one on we want to see/do

which Travel Lodge? - is it the one on the Gloucester Road near a TGI's?

roisin · 30/07/2006 13:46

No, that's a Travel Inn. Why? We've gone for the TravelLodge as they had cheapy rooms. it's here

Furball do you know Cheltenham? and the Festival?

No reason roisin, just asking really.

I was born there and still live close by. My parents live there though. I know absolutely nothing about the literature festival whatsoever.

The programme has now been announced see here We are going for the second weekend, unfortunately: the first weekend looks far more exciting: Michael Morpurgo, Caroline Lawrence, Joshua Doder (Cod!), Julia Donaldson, etc!
