Hi all, I know I've seen a thread similar to this recently so I'm sorry if I'm harping on about the same thing but can't find other thread! DH and I have been going to Cornwall on holiday for years and have been to places such as Bude, Padstow, St Mawes, Boscastle etc. Now we have Dd (18 months) we want to go again in October (preferably on a cottage holiday style thing) but a lot of the places we used to go to now seem daftly busy...is it possible to find a quieter area? Any ideas?

We've just been here - www.kennacottcourt.co.uk

And can heartily recomend it - has a fab indoor pool which we usually had to ourselves ! It's inland a mile from Widemouth Bay near Bude - and has lovely seaview, a kids playroom, swings, and adventure playground, walking path, golf course, tennis court, badminton court, snooker table etc in a fab leisure building !

It's really luxurious too -and they have three alpacas which the little ones seem to love !

We stayed in Widemouth Cottage - which is a one bed and they put a camp-bed in with us for dd. Great place !

That looks gorgeous Norah, have got Dh onto it. We love the beaches in Bude!

try this one - they had chickens, horses and pot bellied pigs a couple of years ago when we went.

Ooo, that looks lovely too - thank you! DH will have his evening cut out for him!

www.rookecottages.com

This is in a lovely quiet setting, down a sleepy lane, nr little village with a good pub (good childrens food/high chairs etc). Yet not far away are so many great beaches etc.

Nr Bude and Padstow that you like.
