We are going to a wedding on Sat and have booked to stay at Travelodge. We wanted to get there at 1.00 to shower and get ready as the wedding starts at 4.00 but the website says check in is 3.00!!

I cant get through as its an automated service that wont let you speak to anyone and I dont fancy getting ready at home then driving in this heat in my finery!!

Has anyone any experience with Travelodge? Do you think they will let me in if I get there at 1.00?

Can't you ring to "make a booking" and ask to be put through to your travel lodge.

Its all automated 'press 1 for and so on...........'so frustrating

I have tried emailing but they said 5 days for reply!!!!

I only found out that check in was 3.00pm when i was talking to a friend about checking in early

its a nightmare, what happened to the days when you rang somewhere and you actually spoke to a person!!

I've spoken to someone when I've needed to - I think you just hang on

re early check in - I think a lot depends on whether the room is ready. e.g. we have turned up a 2pm and been told that we have to wait because the room hasn't been thoroughly cleaned but on other occasions, we've turned up at that time and been allowed in.

It will depend how busy it is. If it is full, you may be out of luck. Best idea is to call, get through to someone and ask them to put you through to your specific travelodge to see if there's any chance they can get it ready early for you.

We stayed in a Travelodge in London (Kings Corss) and they let us in to our room really early - like at about 10 in the morning. We'd only gone there to see if they had a left luggage area where we could leave our overnight bags, but they didn't - but did say if we waited a few minutes we could actually get in to our room.
