Somewhere like Croyde that isn't Croyde

Hello! Well, as the subject line says... any ideas? We stayed in Croyde 2013 Summer and DH refuses to go two years in a row (Boo!). We want to self cater and have two children who will be 2 and 3y10m when we want to go in June. All advice very welcome, thank you!

we stay here loads to do for little ones, small cluster of cottages with a swimming pool and farm animals not far from Looe. we love SE Cornwall. not so busy as the north coast and the A38 is an easy road.
