Hotels in Edinburgh

Hello, can anyone please recommend a hotel in Edinburgh, mid price range and suitable for 2 adults and a 4 year old please :)

I've stayed in the holyrood hotel which I liked, can't remember if it had a pool or not. Is there a particular area you are needing to be in?

Umm I don't think so, we are going to the zoo and somewhere else that I can't remember but I'm going to find out when I get back to school ( TA not child lol) as one of the kids went there in the summer and it sounded fab :) but it won't be in the centre. Hoping to fit in the castle too.

There is a Holiday Inn right beside the Zoo and there is great bus transport from there to the city centre. Kids stay and eat free - they do packages which include zoo tickets and there is a nice swimming pool. Holiday Inn Edinburgh
