Scarlet Hotel in Cornwall

DH and I had a lovely few days here, and I was thinking of booking something for early Spring, but perhaps trying somewhere else.

Does anyone know of a hotel that is lovely without being OTT, and is a little 'different' to a standard hotel?

Can you tell I need inspiration? Grin

Chewton glen in the New Forest is lovely and though we haven't stayed in the luxury tree houses friends have and said they were fantastic.

very expensive but Burgh Island is fab - Art Deco hotel on an island at high tide and joined by a causeway at low tide. Try to get a room facing East then you won't be able to see the caravan park on the mainland lol

We've been back to The Scarlet 3 times as we just can't find anywhere we like the look of better.

We've just come home from Barnsley House in the Cotswolds, utterly fab and that same pampered feeling I got from the Scarlet.
