Going next weekend for brother in law's 40th and dreading it. DS hates car seat and pushchair since he's started crawling/standing and trying to walk, will just about tolerate being carried but he's over the weight limit for the baby bjorn, ie very heavy. Thinking about using it anyway.

BiL has kids but completely forgotten what it's like with a baby and planning to "just pop down to Borough Market for lunch somewhere." Anyone know of a) family friendly restaurant and/or b) soft play area or similar in that vicinity where DS can have a bit of a scramble about? Or a decent pub where the carpet isn't too disgusting so he could just have a crawl.

Thanks in advance!
