Birmingham transport question

Hello, I am taking my son to MAC (Midlands Arts Centre). Thinking of getting the train to New Street, so would it be easy to get a bus to MAC from the train station? Think it would be too far to walk. Know nothing about the centre of Birmingham! Thanks in advance

really not poss to get train to Mac... As no stations nearby... Best thing would be to get the number 45. Or 47. Bus... That will drop you off on Pershore rd... Just let bus driver know you need the mac.
Things have changed outside of new street station... So I'm not sure where the 45 & 47 bus stop is now... But am pretty sure quite close...
Taxi from new street is doable... About 10 min... Not sure how much though!
What's on at the mac?!
