Please can anyone help. I need somewhere to stay next weekend in or near Henley on Thames. Not too fussy, B&B or travelodge type is OK. I just need somewhere really to sleep and get breakfast!
thanks

Red Lion Hotel in the centre of Henley.

Hurley bed and breakfast, lovely little village just outside Henley. (www.hurleybedandbreakfast.co.uk).

I'd expect Red Lion to be pricey - overlooking the river, the Catherine Wheel, still in the centre might be cheaper, but more of a pub than a hotel.

Do you camp? Lovely campsite just outside Henley, Swiss Farm at Hurley.

Travelodge type place at Charvil, Wee Waif, fine but nothing special - about 20 mins away (unless it's regatta week - in which case, forget it, as you'llbe on the wrong side of the river and the queques will last for hours- though there is an ok train service)

Must be lots of B&B but I'm afraid I don't know any :-(

Bit late, so apologies, but in the future

Baltic House, run by Nansi Diamond. Don't have the contact details. Have stayed there during Henley regatta in the past, and it's a great location.
