Where cheap to stay with 3 kids in tow near Burton upon Trent?

Hello,

Looking for a place to stay overnight with DH, 2 children and 1 toddler as plan to go to Sudbury Hall (National Trust) near Burton upon Trent. Where can we stay that won't break the bank - ideally want to spend between £30-60 overall.

Was looking at Travel Lodge & Premier Inn but they only seem to accommodate 2 adults & 2 children per room. Would they allow us to have extra child in room (toddler in cot bed) or not?

you will soon find that accomodating five two adults three kids in a room is tricky - very few hotel family rooms do; you will need to research b and bs carefully . so it's three bed caravans/cottages etc....

or buy a tent?

or get two inerconnecting rooms - premier inn/travelodge sometimes have them . so one adult in each room share the kids out . but yes more expensive...
