Legoland Winsor in October

We're thinking of taking our 4yo bg twins, and 6yo daughter to Legoland Winsor during the October half term. We hear talk that some of the rides close down in September. We're thinking of splashing out and staying in the legoland hotel, so don't want to turn to find a load of the rides closed!

Thanks

if its cold its going to be a lot less fun as who wants to go on water rides and get soaked when it is chilly. our experience of LEGOLAND is that it was great when it was warm but not so when cold and raining. you might get a fab Oct half term but then again you may not.

Head over to the DAYS OUT SECTION where there is a longrunning thread with all you need to know!

Legoland in october will be fab, just bring waterproofs and a change of clothes. Remember its all outdoors so dress warm. The only things that may shut down in cold weather is the splash zone, and also the pirate show will be slightly varied to keep the poor pirates from having to dive in the freezing water....

If you get a teacher-training day on the Monday immediately after half term, it's worth making that your second day, once you have checked they are open.

We went on that day last year and it was the last open day of the season. Busy-ish as they had a "bring a guest" offer for passholders, but we got lucky with the weather and I don't remember queuing for anything.

The Halloween decorations are worth seeing.
